Belleville

We were asked to design a character in the style of Triplets of Belleville. It's funny how challenging it is to imitate another style. When I tossed this into photoshop I experimented with the colouring. I would live to spend more time on this but alas I do not have the time. (And yes Tim, I know I really need to learn to colour in photoshop properly.)

Here's another badly coloured drawing. This one of a story concept I am working on. Essentially these two girls are best friends who live at the worst boarding school ever. I like the muted colours. I think it fits the series well. I plan to make some flash builds of the characters during the Christmas break.

This is Bogart. The concept scketch for the thief that I am suppose to be animating this weekend. I've simplified him slightly for the animation. It's for a weight lift assignment. So I have this guy lifting a safe over his head. I 've done the key animation, I am just doing clean up and inbetweens right now.

Ancient

Here's a quick drawing that I sort of liked. If I have time I might redo it or color it or something. I liked the idea of an ancient guru. I am not too fond of the tree stump. I might change it later.
